We didn’t stay at The Ruby Hotel but used the bar as the backdrop for our rehearsal dinner before our wedding and we are SO GLAD we did. We highly recommend for private events! The manager and staff were delightful to work with, and the vibes in the bar and all the outdoor spaces are We were grateful that we were allowed to bring in outside food and decor but glad we had The Ruby’s bartenders making drinks. The pricing was reasonable, we had the flexibility to start with a full bar and then transition to just beers and wines for the final hours, and we were able to choose signature cocktails as well. I can’t tell you how many people raved about The Ruby Slipper cocktail even months later…truly a memorable sip!

Our Wedding Night Stay — Absolutely Perfect! My husband and I chose to stay at The Ruby Hotel the night of our wedding. We got married in Round Rock and had considered heading down to Austin for a big hotel experience, but then we remembered the Ruby. We had both been curious about it for a while, so we decided to book there instead. We are SO glad we did! After a long, joyful day, we were completely exhausted and so thankful we didn’t have a long drive from our venue to the hotel. We booked a king room with a balcony overlooking Brushy Creek, and it was absolutely beautiful. The room was stylish, cozy, and decorated in a mid-century modern design that felt both elegant and inviting. My husband even said it felt like a “destination in itself,” and I completely agree. When booking, I noted that it was our wedding night. Once we arrived, I noticed thoughtful little touches like makeup-removing wipes and even a towel embroidered with the word “makeup.” It might sound small, but after a long day of photos and dancing, that detail felt so considerate and made me smile. We both slept incredibly well, and in the morning, I was thrilled to discover a Nespresso machine in the room instead of a standard coffee maker. We enjoyed espresso together on the balcony, watching the quiet, peaceful scene on Brushy Creek, our very first morning as husband and wife. We also had brunch at the bar nearby, which was delicious. Every staff member we met was kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy for us. Their warmth really made the experience feel special. Since we live nearby, we’ll definitely be back, especially for our anniversary. The front desk mentioned that they host live music and events at the bar, and we’re already planning to visit again, even if it’s just for drinks by the creek. We’ll also be recommending The Ruby to anyone visiting from out of town and to all our local friends looking for a cozy, charming staycation spot.

The Ruby Hotel is such a cute hotel. I enjoyed sitting on my balcony while listening to nature. It’s so peaceful. There’s no road noise. The front desk staff and bartenders are superb. They have a nice patio with a nice view, well to me it’s a nice view. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was clean and didn’t have the old hotel smell. I also loved that my room was my favorite color. I can’t wait to stay here again. The peace I felt here is unmatched. The room had a lot of snacks and a variety of adult beverages but I fought the urge.

**Charming Stay with Scenic Views at The Ruby Hotel** We recently stayed at The Ruby Hotel & Bar in Round Rock, TX, and it was a delightful experience overall. We booked a double room with a balcony, which provided plenty of space for two and a nice outdoor area to relax. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated with a retro vibe that fits the hotel's boutique charm. The beds were plush, and the bathroom was spacious with high-quality amenities. Both Mayra and Kyle who work the front office were so kind and accommodating. One of the highlights was the location overlooking Brushy Creek – from our balcony, we enjoyed peaceful views of the water and even spotted some local wildlife like ducks and birds. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, and the pool area looked inviting (though we didn't get a chance to use it this time). The on-site bar looked very cozy, unfortunately we had business in town and missed having cocktails at the bar. Service throughout our stay was excellent, check-in was smooth, and everyone we interacted with seemed genuinely welcoming. It's a great spot if you're looking for a relaxed, upscale escape close to Austin without the downtown hustle. I'd definitely recommend The Ruby for a weekend getaway!

I stayed at The Ruby Hotel in Round Rock for two nights on a business trip, and honestly, it was perfect. It’s got this laid-back, boutique vibe that feels way more personal than the big chains. My room was super clean, the bed was crazy comfortable, and having a private balcony overlooking the creek was such a nice touch after a long day of meetings. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, not just polite. The Ruby Bar & Kitchen downstairs had great drinks and a relaxed atmosphere, ideal spot to unwind and get out of “work mode.”

I absolutely loved my stay at The Ruby! This chic, cozy and charming boutique hotel is a must for anyone traveling to or around the Round Rock area. The room was the perfect, artistic oasis and the nature views were restorative, especially after a long weekend at a conference in Austin. The staff is especially friendly and hospitable (shout out to Jonathan and Kyle for being so gracious, and answering ALL my Round Rock and coffee-maker questions). I also enjoyed my leisurely morning breakfast at the restaurant, and the twinkle-lit trees and overall relaxing ambience. I hope to return again soon for another delightful stay!

Upon arrival we were meet with smiling and welcome faces. Check was easy and getting into the hotel room was easy with a key pad, so no need to remember a card. They sent the code to our phones. The room was bare bones, mini fridge with items to purchase and snacks on the table. A nespresso machine with the cups and creamer included. The room didn't have a couch which I was a bit sad about since we were here to just hang out with friends we hadn't seen in a good while. The bar is cute and quant. We ate lunch and dinner there. The turkey club was great and the salad was tasty was well, they used a vinaigrette on the salad. The vibe inside was cozy and they still had their Christmas decorations up which I loved. When we returned for happy hour it was a bit some crowded, so we sat outside. The manager noticed and turned the fire pit on and another heater for us, which was very nice. We got the popcorn which was good, I just wish it had some seasoning. The garden of Eden drink was excellent, nice and light and refreshing. We also got the nachos which were great with a generous amount of chicken. The BBQ bacon burger was good, I wish for more sauce, but that's just me. Service overall was excellent. I'd highly recommend coming here and hope to return soon!

I've stayed at The Ruby or gone to the bar quite a few times, and it's always a great experience. It's a boutique hotel right on Brushy Creek, so you get great views of the wildlife. Their bar/restaurant is an old renovated house from the 70's with a super cool aesthetic.
